The establishment of our department aims to cultivate Taiwan professionals who meet the needs of the local and outlying islands in the field of social work and social welfare, provide training opportunities for Chinese social workers and create an interactive platform for professional exchanges of Chinese social work.
We attach great importance to holistic education, using multiple teaching and evaluation methods to ensure the effectiveness of learning, strengthening student guidance, including class, school life, career planning and examination of license. We focus on internship courses and practical training, which committed to unity of theory and practice. We also put emphasis on developing partnerships with related academic and practical fields, such as industry-university cooperation, inter-school exchanges, international cooperation, promotion/further education cooperation.
